New Yorkshire coffee shop going great guns

Coffee shops are great places for bonding with the local community. This has even been translated into our television culture with favourite programmes, such as the long-running Friends, acknowledging that coffee shop culture is a great place to meet, greet and hang out.
A new coffee shop in Yorkshire is carrying on this time-honoured tradition and, according to reports in the local press (Yorkshire Evening Post), is doing its job rather well.
Coopers is located at the end of Farley Town Street and one of the first things that has been noticed about the new coffee shop is the attractive exterior. A sleek black Victorian look, coupled with hanging baskets entices customers in. Thought has been given to the overall layout, with seating options ranging from couches and tables, to the outdoor courtyard area with nice attention to detail, such as available newspapers for browsing as you sip on your cup of joe. In addition, computer users can use the wi-fi facilities too.
Reports of the menu are also favourable which include a selection of breakfast fare, ‘proper’ meals (lasagne and the like) plus a lighter collection of sandwiches. Of course, coffee is also on the menu! In keeping with current good market practice and trends, the coffee house is opting for locally sourced produce too.
Even in this economy, it is heartening to hear that new business ventures are succeeding and building up a client base, while contributing to the social life of the local community.
