More World’s Biggest Coffee Morning News
The clock is ticking and we are rapidly approaching the date set by Macmillan’s Cancer Support charity’s big event. The date is set for 30 September when the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning will take place to raise funds for those who are adversely affected by cancer. Many people in the country have a huge affection for this charity because of the excellent and sympathetic care they provide in times of crisis. As such, the turn out is expected to be wonderful.
By way of an update of recently published events which are to take place, let’s take a look at the White Horse in Eaton Socon. As well as taking part in the coffee morning, they are also celebrating with a "Big Birthday Fun Day" the following day, to acknowledge the fact that Macmillan is now 100 years old.
he coffee morning will be a traditional affair with, of course, delicious coffee and a selection of tempting cakes to nibble on. For the birthday celebrations, there will be a party with a collection of family entertainments on offer such as face painting, bouncy castles, balloon animals and competitions.
What else is in the offing? In Wiltshire, there are a series of events planned for the big day. Among the proposals are coffee mornings in Blooms Garden Centre and Bushwackers in Fleet Square, who will entice the public in to sup coffee and make donations by putting on a buffet. The Macmillan organiser in the area is also gearing up to persuade many more people to take part.
