Marie Curie Cancer supported at coffee morning

Marie Curie Cancer Care

If you are near the Ballycastle Presbyterian Church Hall on 10 December this year, between 10am and noon, spare a thought to those with cancer and the wonderful work that is being done by the Marie Curie Cancer Care group. If you have the time and the inclination, why not pop in for a cup of coffee to support the charity?

There is a nominal £1 entry fee to the raffle and once you are inside you can expect the usual refreshments, cakes and also a raffle with over 40 prizes available to the lucky winners. The tickets can either be bought in advance from the Marie Curie members or alternatively on the door on the day of the coffee morning.

The event is being run by the Moyle and District Support Group of Marie Curie Cancer Care. In the past, similar events have been held in the Antrim Arms.

THE Moyle and District Support Group of Marie Curie Cancer Care are holding their annual coffee morning. They have been successful in the past too.
The Marie Curie Cancer Care prides itself on offering high quality care to those at the end of their life. They are currently implementing a strategic plan (2011 – 2014) to prioritise patients and families and to promote the right care for patients, improve standards and also make hospices a ‘hub’ in the community. The charity also seeks to continue research into the improvement of their services and developing their presence in local communities.
