The worst Friends coffee shop error ever
The problem with not having Friends on repeat on Channel 4 here in the UK means we are less likely to spot as many errors as if the broadcaster were still showing us all the Joey and co we can handle on E4.
But one eagle-eyed Friends fan has spotted possibly one of the worst errors by a TV extra that we’ve ever seen.
Not only does it occur in the beloved Central Perk coffee shop, but it also involves an extra ‘making a meal’ of a cup of coffee…
The actor in question is a lady sat just behind Ross, and was obviously instructed to take a sip of her coffee during the scene.
For some reason unknown to mankind, or we assume to everyone but the woman herself, she takes a sip, then starts CHEWING her coffee.
Now we are unsure if Central Perk is a set that actually has the capabilities to serve coffee, and of course we know that there are some hipster folk that are looking to ‘innovate’ in the coffee scene, but please, please never ever accept a cup of coffee that you can ‘chew’.

Now not only are we confused, we’re infuriated, but some (kind) people are even trying to explain this monumental cock-up, with our favourite theory coming from Twitter user @kavancleary:

Probably the only explanation right? Well it’s either that or the coffee that Gunther is serving is the worst kept coffee in the world*.
