Craft beers and craft coffee don’t tend to come as a pair too often, and they probably should, but Single Shot coffee on Leeds’ Central Road aims to change that in the coming months.
The team from Single Shot came down to our base to get taught in all the tricks of the Barista trade, with our resident expert, Dominico.
With over 50 years of coffee experience, there is nobody better to teach the art of finely crafted coffee, than our one and only Italian.
As with all our Barista training sessions, our man Domenico, takes all trainees through the various intricacies of what makes quality coffee. From the beans to the Barista themself, but of course, the basis of all good speciality coffee is the espresso.
After learning the ins and outs of the coffee basics, the Single Shot team were given the lowdown on what makes each speciality drink within a standard coffee menu.
From the latte to cappuccinos, the Dom directed the crew to coffee perfection, with guidance on how to achieve correctly foamed milk for each drink on their upcoming menu.
Luckily for the future customers of Single Shot, there was a lot of natural Barista ability on display! Foaming milk perfect for all manner of amazing latte art!
Not only that, but they seriously looked the part!
As for the coffee shop itself, if you pay Rob & Co a visit in Leeds city centre you can expect a musical coffee experience! Vintage vinyl and quality coffee collide in what we are sure will be a huge success…well we did train them after all…
