Presenting the Astoria Storm, a new and exciting cutting-edge coffee machine that combines classic features and minimalist design together in one package. Designed in conjunction with skilled baristas to produce a machine tuned to the movements and requirements and the barista’s need to operate the levers to adjust coffee according to the required taste.
This machine oozes character, with customisable wooden accents on the group handles, steam lever and support legs – available in various different wood types and stains to create a personality that fits with your business. Built-in LED lighting also provides optimal viewing of the coffee extraction process.
At the forefront is an innovative suspended drip tray, designed in such a way that it does not hide the cup from view during brewing, with the shapes and sizing created as such to allow easy cleaning.
The steam wand keeps you safe with an anti-scalding, cantilever design that offers great safety and allows easy return movement to the drip tray. Built in is “Super Dry” – an innovative system that keep steam dry and minimises initial condensation, managed by utilising a second heating spout which dissolves any condensation.
Storm is one of the lowest machines of its type and this, combined with the striking classic design, gives it a strong personality as well as improving the barista-to-customer relationship by providing more space and freedom with its built-in adjustable feet.

The Storm is a competition machine that guarantees total control of the dispensing of coffee and is suitable for use according to memorized brewing curves, that can be stored and adjusted as required via the machines touch screen system, revolutionising the way barista and machine interact and fine-tune their art.
By collaborating with world famous baristas Michalis Dimitrakopoulos (World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion 2016), Arnon Thitiprasert (World Latte Art Champion 2017) and Caleb Cha (World Latte Art Champion 2015), Astoria built Storm to revolutionise the relationship between who operates the coffee machine and those who enjoy a cup of coffee.
Available in 2 group and 3 group configurations, as well as an FRC version that introduces the lever operation abilities alongside touchscreen technology for truly precise programming and adjustment of brewing curves on each individual group.
