And with our speciality micro-lot coffee, we offer some of the finest coffee beans available anywhere.

At the moment we have a superb range of rare selections, that not only includes the wildlife conscious Orang Utan Friendly coffee but also one of the finest Brazilian coffees available today; in the form of the Fazenda Dona Nenem Yellow Bourbon coffee.

History

Sourced from the 3300 hectare Eduardo Campos owned farm in Brazil’s Minas Gerais, the Fazenda Dona Nenem is the first coffee plantation to have been cultivated in the Patos de Minastro region.

Much like our Orang Utan coffee, farm owner Eduardo Campos ensures environmental harmony by replanting 10% of the cultivated crop each year, and states himself that: “Nature is number 1!”

Following strict environmental laws, and with good agricultural practices, Dona Nenem has gaine dfull Rainforest Alliance certification.

This exceptional coffee meets all the requirements of sustainability and with high ethical standards throughout the growing and harvesting process.

The taste

This pulped natural coffee provides a very sweet coffee with citrus and floral notes, a complex taste also consists of dark chocolate, brown sugar and nuts with moderate acidity.

However you wish to brew and prepare this multi-faceted and pleasing coffee, we recommend that extraction times are kept slightly on the short side in order to really get the most out of the subtle floral and citrus notes which underpin the predominant honey flavour.
