Nuova Simonelli

We are an official UK partner of Nuova Simonelli.

Nuova Simonelli is an Italian company that can trace its history back to 1936 when Orlando Simonelli made his first espresso machine, which was seen as one of the most technologically advanced units of its time. Due to the success of the '1936', Simonelli moved his operations to some new premises in the town of Tolentino, central Italy where the company would continue to design and create market-leading coffee machines.

Today they manufacture a vast portfolio of coffee machines design to suit all corners of the market, from small professional premises through to large self-service locations as well as those within the hospitality sector.

Unlike a number of other comparable manufacturers, Nuova Simonelli brings the expertise and experience that they've gained from creating traditional espresso machines and applied it to their smaller, automatic models. One prominent example would be their continued use of professionally designed die-cast metal brewing groups in the Prontobar, Talento and Microbar II, something of a rarity in bean to cup coffee machines.

Such is Nuova Simonelli's standing within the industry, the Italian-based entity has been the official technical partner of the World Barista Championships, and you can see a number of models used by coffee professionals from around the world, with the eventual World Barista Champion receiving the compact Musica Lux coffee machine.

Recognised for their expertise and innovation, they rarely stand still and have collaborated with numerous academic institutions to improve the quality and efficiency of their espresso and bean to cup coffee machines.
